Description: Conveniently located halfway between New York and Florida, this rural, peaceful campground is nestled among cotton, tobacco and peanut fields. Just off I-95, it's the perfect place to stop, unplug, and relax for a night or the weekend. The campground is close to several historic sites in nearby Halifax, and it is the KOA closest to Raleigh. You're also about 2 1/2 hours from Virginia Beach or Cape Hatteras and the Outer Banks. You'll find plenty of activities to the north in Roanoke Rapids or to the south in Rocky Mount.
